Fly’s intuitive app allowed SFTY to design two volume bundles that encourage bulk purchase.
1. SFTY’s Bodyguard Volume Bundle
SFTY created two ‘Buy More Save More’ volume bundles to promote their personal safety alarm—‘Bodyguard.’
The bundles catered to different customer needs and budgets, with discounts increasing as the bundle size grew:

They prominently displayed the volume bundle on their homepage, making options that encouraged bulk purchases immediately visible to the buyers.
This helped tackle low AOV by showcasing clear savings at every level, motivating customers to buy more and increase their order size.
2. Integrated Free Shipping for Larger Bundles
Free shipping was offered for bundles of 3 and more, making higher-tiered bundles more appealing while eliminating hesitation about buying in bulk.
The free shipping incentive made higher-tiered bundles more attractive and accessible to customers, further driving AOV.
3. Customization Options with Real-Time Visualization
SFTY provided customers with the ability to select their preferred alarm colors (black, white, blue, pink) for each product in all tiers throughout the bundle with the help of dropdowns.
Allowing customers to select and preview their alarm colors catered to their desire for personalization, overcoming the challenge of limited customization.
This enhanced the product's appeal, making it more likely that customers would purchase larger bundles.
4. Emphasized Popularity and Value Tags
The “Most Popular” Tag for the Buy 6-tier and the “Lowest Price Ever” Tag for the Buy 12-tier highlighted the best deals in the bundle.
This allowed SFTY to address customer hesitation by highlighting trust from other customers and encourage bulk purchases.
5. Upsold Bodyguard Platinum Protection
With Fly, SFTY was able to add an upsell below the volume bundle called the Bodyguard Platinum Protection.
This add-on, priced at $6.99, offered a guarantee to protect the package throughout the transit, ensuring customers receive their products in perfect condition.
It also provided peace of mind with a hassle-free replacement and 1-year damage protection, addressing customer concerns about long-term productivity and boosting AOV by adding value to the purchase.
6. Differentiation Through Customization and Pricing
SFTY set itself apart from competitors by combining personalized product options (color selections) with a tiered pricing structure that communicated savings at each level, emphasizing the value of buying in bulk.
This differentiation helped combat market saturation by positioning the brand as customer-focused and value-driven.
7. Sustained Revenue with Year-Round Promotions
SFTY’s volume bundles will be used throughout the year and configured during seasonal spikes, ensuring consistent revenue and customer interest throughout the year.
