February 2024 Update

In February 2024, Kite improved usability with a promotion checklist, enhanced Free Gift features, a pricing plan popup, and refined discount controls for a smoother experience.

Added feature which does some checks and shows a checklist why the promotion is not working along with fixes.

1. Free pricing plan popup implemented. Single Language option added back on free Gift settings page.

2. Free Pricing Plan Popup - If a customer having 300+ store orders (in last 30 days) & attempts to take a free plan will result in seeing a basic pricing plan popup.

3. There are two basic pricing plans available in popup

4. If a customer having less than 500 orders, will see basic plan discounted by 3$ which is 6.99$

5. If a customer having more than 500 orders, will see basic plan at original price.

2. Single Language mode removed from free gift settings to avoid merchant confusion.

3. Settings page internal screens loading bar removed, loading icon added on card itself.

4. Validation added in discount frontend UI for customer eligibility tags without a tag.

January 2024 Update

In January 2024, Kite updated the pricing screen, enhanced tailored plan visibility, and added advanced discount settings. New features include tag/login-based discount eligibility and improved volume discount previews.

January 25, 2024

Pricing screen made mandatory in installation flow. Now app is not free, Customers will have to subscribe for a plan whether it's a free plan & only affiliates will see 'continue app free popup'.

1. Now 'basic' customers won't be able to see plus plan.

2. 'Shopify-Plus' customers won't be able to see basic plan.

3. Rest of the customers will see all 3 plans.

4. Advanced Settings card added in discounts - New optional card Advanced settings added which includes three existing cards inside it (customer eligibility rules, campaign rules & Easy Bundles Integration card)

3. Volume discount product page widget background, text or border color after saving from admin it was not working on storefront. The issue was functionality missing.

4. Tiered discount product page widget - If Customer note has empty space value even then also widget was occupying space for that note.
