Easy Bundles: Product Page Bundle

Easy Bundles’ Product Page Bundle Builder uses Shopify’s API to create on-page bundles, increasing AOV, improving conversion rates, and enhancing marketing control.

Description

Easy Bundles launched a brand-new feature - Product Page Bundle Builder that leverages Shopify’s bundling API.

Now merchants and agencies can create bundles right on the product page. Some of its benefits are:

  1. Embed products directly on product pages
  2. Fewer drop-offs as redirection is not required
  3. Enhanced marketing control
  4. Faster setup & streamlined UI
  5. Mobile-first design ‍

Problem We're Solving

Traditional full-page bundles are effective for complex bundling but require redirection, leading to higher drop-offs and slower page load times due to heavier content.

The Product Page Bundle Builder allows bundles to be embedded directly on product pages, offering a seamless shopping experience. This simplifies bundle discovery while improving site performance and customer satisfaction.

Impact

A product page bundle builder impacts the following in your store:

Average Order Value (AOV): Customers exploring a single product are encouraged to upgrade to a bundle. This helps increase their cart value and AOV.

Conversion Rates: Product page bundles provide a seamless bundle building experience, right where customers are. This means fewer drop-offs and higher conversion rates.

Inventory Movement: They are highly effective in moving slow-moving or new products. For example, if a customer is exploring a body wash, you can embed a bundle that includes body scrub and bath salts, thus promoting both of these product categories on the same page.

Enhanced Marketing Control: Enjoy full control over SEO and metadata as now your bundles are right on the product page. Effectively promote your bundles and reach more customers.

Mobile-First Design: Optimised for mobile, the product page bundle promises higher conversion rates on mobile devices.

How to Make it Work

1. Shortlist Your Products: Select products that complement each other (e.g., cleanser, toner, moisturizer) or solve a specific problem (e.g., sun protection, gut health).

2. Build Bundles Step by Step: Create and name bundle steps in the Easy Bundles product page builder.

  • Name your steps and pages. Make sure your copy is engaging and encourages conversions.
  • Add your products or collections. You can display variants as different products.
  • Set conditions, such as the minimum or maximum number of products per step, or total value thresholds.
  • Clone or customize steps as needed

3. Add Discounts: Configure discounts for your product page bundle. Choose between a fixed amount off, a percentage off, or a fixed bundle price.

4. Enable Widget: Once done you can enable the widget to appear on the product page. Ensure the Easy Bundles theme app extension is enabled and saved in the theme section of your Shopify store.

5. Analyze and Optimize: Use the analytics tab of Easy Bundles to monitor your product page bundle's performance. Iterate as needed.
